The
Executive PG program is a one-year, full-time,
campus-based program designed for executives with more
than three years of work experience. The program, offered
at IBS®
Hyderabad, is an executive development program
intended to enhance the career prospects of the
participants. The program is designed to enhance the
skills and competencies of talented and ambitious young
executives, to prepare them to take up the
responsibilities of senior management. During the one year
of study, the candidates are expected to obtain a broader
perspective on the nuances of managing at a time of great
change, and acquire the skills to lead teams and
organizations to success in a globalized, competitive
business environment.

Objectives
and Philosophy |

The
program aims to enhance its students' capability to manage
and lead. On completion of the program, students would
have learnt to:

Adopt
a systematic approach to identification of business
problems and their solutions

Use
their analytical, problem solving and decision-making
skills to deal successfully with issues in finance,
marketing, manufacturing, human resources, information
technology, strategic planning and international
business.
In
addition, at the end of the program, they would also have
acquired:

Familiarity
in applying the skills acquired through the program in
business situations

Effective
team building and leadership skills

The
skills necessary to lead teams and organizations in a
turbulent and competitive environment

Preparatory
Self-study Module
All
students who are admitted to the Executive PG Program are
required to go through preparatory self-study module. This
module consists of the following courses:
IBS®
will provide all the necessary courseware for self-study.
All students are expected to complete the preparatory
module on their own, during March and April 2008.
