IBS® Hyderabad campus is spread over 100 acres, and
is located about 25 kms from the city.

academic block consists of classrooms, lecture
theatres, conference halls, computer center,
learning center, faculty offices, the Career
Management Center, Seminar Hall, etc.

IBS® Hyderabad is a fully residential campus with
single accomodation for all PG students.

Faculty
residences are under construction and will be ready by
the end of 2007.

The
IBS® Hyderabad library has more than 55,000 books,
business journals/magazines, both international and
national, and more than 400 CD-ROMs and videotapes.

All
students are provided with wired and wireless internet
facility.

IT lab is equipped with the latest software and
hardware.

IBS® Hyderabad has subscriptions to various online
databases like EBSCO, Prowess, Capitaline and
Reuters Business insight.
IBS® Hyderabad has a large pool of faculty members coming from
diverse fields with a unique blend of academic, research and
industrial experience. Faculty members are involved in
research and consultancy activities besides teaching. In
addition, many eminent professionals academicians, and CEOs
have visited our campus and appreciated our endeavors in
grooming the managers of tomorrow.
At
IBS® Hyderabad, the faculty members play a key role in
delivering quality education through the interactive case
study method, continuous evaluation, guiding and counseling.
They bring in their knowledge and experience in providing
advanced education to the students. Faculty members
participate in various research, FDP and MDP activities to
enhance their knowledge and industry awareness. All the
full-time and visiting faculty members have good academic as
well as industry experience. Apart from teaching, faculty
members are actively involved in conducting and participating
in various international and national seminars/conferences.
They regularly publish papers and articles in international
and national journals and magazines. Faculty at IBS® Hyderabad

Journal of Applied Finance: A monthly finance journal that showcases
empirical research in applied finance.
The
Journal of Behavioral Finance: A quarterly journal that focuses on
behavioral economics, behavior of markets, behavioral aspects influencing
investment decisions of managers, etc.

Journal of Supply Chain Management: A quarterly journal that focuses
on purchasing, manufacturing, 3PL, e-procurement, e-manufacturing, reverse
supply chain inventory, etc.

Journal of Applied Economics: A bi-monthly journal
that analyzes issues in micro, macro, development and energy
economics

Journal of Managerial Economics: A quarterly journal
focusing on managerial decision-making from all functional
areas of economics.

Journal of Operations Management: A quarterly
journal focusing on inventory control, Suply Chain Management,
Enterprise Resource Planning, etc.

Journal of Organizational Behavior: A quarterly
journal focusing on organization design, job, performance,
motivation & satisfaction, work-life balance, group
dynamics and leadership.

Journal of Corporate Governance: A quarterly journal
focusing on governance & ethics framework, role of boards,
role of CEOs, CFOs and other senior management, role of other
stakeholders, etc.
Frequent
industry visits by students and guest lectures by eminent
people drawn from industry keep the students updated with the
latest practices in management.
The
curriculum of the courses is revised continuously to meet the
changing industry needs. IBS® Hyderabad jointly develops
courses with the corporate world for example, with Deloitte
Consulting for courseware on US Taxation and with ICICI Bank
for material on wealth management.
Faculty
members at IBS® play a significant role in ensuring quality
education, by bringing their extensive knowledge, business
experience and advanced education to the task of developing
future managers. IBS® faculty keep themselves abreast of the
latest developments in their fields by being active in research,
publication, and consulting.

Students
have taken the initiative to form several clubs and forums like Mavericks (the
marketing forum), ‘O’Zone (the operations club), EcoBizz (for economics and
business), Money Matters, the HR Club, Ad-In Adventure club, etc., where the
main idea is to promote interaction among the students. An annual management
meet titled Thrishna is organized by students at the campus. Various
reputed B-schools from all over India participate. Akriti, the annual
cultural fete, Freshers’ party, and Farewell party are some of the
extra-curricular activities at the IBS® Hyderabad campus. ‘Diatribe’, the
rock band of IBS® Hyderabad, has already acquired a reputation for itself in
Hyderabad and beyond.
Spandana,
a monthly newsletter and also the intranet facility created and maintained by
the students at the school provide a platform to the students to express their
views, experiences and information.
Students
at IBS® Hyderabad also celebrate all the major festivals. Some of the festivals
celebrated are Deepavali, Dassera, Holi, Lori, Navaratri, Eid and Christmas.
Meditation workshops are regularly conducted for IBS® Hyderabad students for
their spiritual strength.
IBS® Hyderabad students participate in social welfare activities like blood donation
camps, eye and dental check-up camps in slum areas, and various other activities
under the auspices of YES club.
IBS® Hyderabad has consistently had a 100 percent placement record
since inception. Around 200 companies from all sectors of
industry come to the campus. IBS® Hyderabad has also made a
beginning in the international placements this year.
