Apart
from regular classroom lectures, students engage in
activities such as organizing seminars on contemporary
management issues, publishing in-house magazines, organizing
guest lectures, and participating in inter and
intra-business school competitions. Students are also
encouraged to form informal groups and clubs based on their
areas of interest, such as the Economic Forum, Maverick –
The Marketing Club, The Silicos – IT Club, Finafest
– The Finance Club, and Challengers – The HR Club, to
share information and exchange ideas.
Students
also organize an annual inter-business school meet which
offers an opportunity to develop closer interaction and
friendship among the IBS® fraternity. Apart from this
students are also involved in various workshops and
seminars, competitions, cultural activities, excursion
tours, etc. For developing social responsibility in students
various events are organized, such as blood donation camps,
visits to orphanages and old age homes, poster making
competitions to disseminate social messages etc.
Besides
this, IBS® Indore has a tradition of using intensive group
work and a team approach in the learning process. Thus our
students learn from each other in a group learning
environment.
