IBS®,
Hyderabad is organizing the ICQMOIT-2008 to provide an
International Forum for analysts, academicians and research scholars to
present, observe and discuss their latest research findings and ideas
relevant to the future. Contribution in the form of research papers, case
studies and projects is welcome. One of the objectives of the conference
is to provide value addition to the business practitioners and
academicians in terms new business solutions and exploring new research
ideas using the concepts of Quantitative Methods (QM), Operations and
Information Technology (IT).
Theme of the Conference
The theme of ICQMOIT-2008 is "The Role of Quantitative Methods,
Operations, and Information Technology in Managerial Decision
Making". Today's globalized business is characterized by
unprecedented levels of uncertainty. The success of any organization,
small or big, depends on its ability to manage such uncertainties.
Organizations today, are increasingly using Information Technology and are
applying the concepts of Quantitative Methods and Operations to minimize
the effects of such uncertainties in the business environment.
Objective and Scope of the Conference
The purpose of ICQMOIT-2008 is to provide a forum that discusses
the role of Quantitative Methods, Operations and Information Technology in
decision making under uncertain business environments. The conference will
also be a platform for networking and collaborations amongst the
participants from academia and industry.
