Eligibility
Applicants
who wish to apply for Young Achievers Summer Program should be students
of Pre-final Year Bachelor Degree Programs from any discipline. Students
who are in 2nd year of 3 year degree program and 3rd year of 4 year
engineering program are eligible to apply.
Selection
Procedure: YAT 2009
Eligible
applicants are required to appear for Young Achievers Test (YAT) 2009 on
February 22, 2009 from 10.00 am to 11.00 am at the respective college
where they are pursuing their graduation. The Application Form for YAT
2009 is given on Page no. 3. YAT 2009 is a one hour test with 100
multiple choice questions, 50 in General Knowledge and 50 in English.
The sample questions are given on Page no. 2.
Each
applicant will be provided with a kit for YAT 2009. This kit includes:
The
Malayala Manorama Knowledge Adventure CD, is one of the most
comprehensive compilation of GK, facts and information, in India which
will be useful to prepare for YAT 2009 and other competitive
examinations and interviews.
The
top 6 performers in YAT 2009, from each of the eligible colleges will be
selected for the Young Achievers Summer Program.
Test

YAT
2009 will be conducted at the college where the applicants are pursuing
their graduation.

Alternatively,
applicants can submit the completed Application Form for YAT 2009 at the
college where they are pursuing their graduation. Such applicants are
advised to retain a photocopy of the submitted Application Form with
college seal as acknowledgement.
Registration
Fee
The
entire Program is offered completely free.
IBS
will provide free lodging and boarding to all the participants at the
IBS Hyderabad campus for the duration of the program, i.e., six days.
The workshops and seminars are free. The sight-seeing trip is also free.
Selected
candidates will also be reimbursed to-and-fro 3rd AC train fare from
their hometown to Hyderabad, when they report for the program.
However,
the selected participants will be required to pay a registration fee of
Rs. 750. The payment is to be made through Credit Card/Demand Draft.
DD should be in favor of "IUCF A/c YAT", payable at Hyderabad.
