Career Management Center
IBS has an impeccable track record of securing good placements every year, with leading companies consistently visiting the campuses to recruit students.
Career Management Center (CMC)
IBS has its own Career Management Center, which operates under the overall guidance of a coordinator, supported by a team of managers and executives. The CMC works year after year to achieve better placements across campuses.
The primary objective of the CMC is to enhance the placement prospects of IBS students. Its personnel visit potential employers across industries and apprise them of the talent pool available at the business school. Over the years, the CMC has built strong relationships with more than 4,000 companies across India.
In the most recent placement season, more than 500 companies recruited students from IBS, and there has been a steady increase in the number of recruiters every year.
The CMC organizes various activities such as guest lectures, pre-placement talks, and workshops, providing opportunities for both industry and students to interact. Beyond academics, students receive career counseling and training in soft skills, and they are also exposed to group discussion practice sessions and mock interviews ahead of the final placements.
The CMC’s focus areas include:
- Personality Development
- Career Counseling
- Career Library
- Internships
- Strong Industry Interface
A Collaborative Effort
The placement process at IBS is a collaborative effort between the institution and its students. While IBS provides the platform through extensive networking with potential employers, students are expected to make the best possible efforts to secure suitable placements.
Placements
Given the right opportunities, IBS believes its students can achieve new heights in business management and set benchmarks of performance in the industry. Trained to be well-rounded professionals, IBS graduates consistently prove their caliber, and the placement record is a strong testimony to this fact.
