Professor Dr. Muddu Vinay is the Dean, IBS & Vice Chancellor at the ICFAI University Dehradun. He has around three decades of rich experience in the field of Education, Training, Planning, Management and Consultancy. He is acknowledged not only for establishing Institutions but also leading them to excellence in Academics and Research with his path breaking initiatives. Dr. Muddu Vinay has held several positions of eminence in professional bodies in the field of education both globally and in India. These include Chairman IQAC(Internal Quality Assessment Cell), Proctor, University of California, Berkeley Extension. He has spearheaded and pioneered various programmes in the field of higher education especially in postgraduate studies in collaboration with reputed schools in India, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Singapore and Malaysia. He is the present expert peer committee member, National Board of Accreditation, Govt. of India, New Delhi. He has also been the expert member for various professional organizations that include Higher Education UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI), World Bank and MHRD. He has been conferred with ‘Award of Excellence- Eminent Educationists’ in the Indo-American summit 2016, MTC Global Award for Excellence 2013 in ‘Innovation in Teaching Pedagogy’, ‘NESA Fellowship Award 2012’ and ‘Leadership and Responsibility Award’ by Presidency Group of Institutions, along with many other awards and accolades in his illustrious career. He has personally trained more than 30,000 individuals undertaking undergraduate, post graduate studies as well as research scholars, University teachers and teaching staff. Yes. IBSAT is conducted every year for admission to all programs of IBS. It is a 2hr Remote Proctored Computer Based Test which can be taken from home. The IBSAT 2025 test concluded on December 27-28, 2025.

IBSAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions. The duration of the exam is two
hours. The paper is divided into four sections Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability and
Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation.

IBSAT paper has 140 questions in total which are multiple choice questions with no negative marking.

Yes. Mock Tests will be provided for the candidates to familiarize with IBSAT test. These mock tests will be available on www.ibsindia.org from July 2025 onwards.

• IBS Hyderabad, IBS Bangalore (off campus of IFHE Hyderabad) are the constituents of IFHE (ICFAI Foundation
  for Higher Education), a Deemed–to-be- University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956.
• IBS Dehradun is a constituent of the ICFAI University, Dehradun. The ICFAI University, Dehradun is
  recognized by UGC under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act.
• IBS Jaipur is a constituent of the ICFAI University, Jaipur. The ICFAI University, Jaipur has been notified
  by the Government of Rajasthan (Act No. 20 of 2011).
• IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai, IBS Pune are independent professional institutes offering PGPM. They are neither affiliated to nor are off-campus centers of any university.

valid scores are called for the Selection process on Sunday, March 29 at 8 IBS Campuses, IBS Ahemdabad, IBS Bengalore, IBS Dehradun, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Jaipur, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai, IBS Pune and IBS Head Office, Hyderabad. The final selection is based on performance in Micro Presentation, Personal Interview and the past academic performance (performance in Class X, XII and graduation)

Ph.D Program:

Applicants who have applied through either the IBSAT 2025 Portal or the IFHE Portal are invited to participate
in the Selection Process at the IBS Hyderabad campus, scheduled for April 2026.
