The IBS Alumni Federation is a membership organization comprising more than 78,000+ alumni of IBS. Founded in 1997, the Federation has a diverse and rich history of bringing alumni together to support the Institute, its students and each other.

Alumni Meet - Gurgaon 2026
The Gurgaon Alumni Meet ‘IMPRINTS - 2026’ on 13 March 2026 at The Palms Town and Country Club was a vibrant gathering that brought together alumni across batches for a memorable reunion. The event saw enthusiastic participation from alumni, faculty, and families, fostering meaningful connections and nostalgia. Engaging interactions, well-planned arrangements, and a warm atmosphere made the event special. It concluded on a high note, strengthening alumni bonds and leaving lasting impressions.
Alumni Meet - Jaipur 2026
The Professional networking and alumni reconnection held on March 8, 2026, at Exotica Banjara Hills, 12th Square Building, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. With the objective of reconnecting IBS Jaipur alumni currently based in Hyderabad, this first-of-its-kind reunion outside Jaipur was organized to strengthen alumni bonds and institutional association. Distinguished alumni from leading organizations such as DE Shaw, Deloitte, Pinkerton, ValueMomentum, and Phoenix Group participated in the event. These alumni have consistently supported the institution through mentoring, internships, placements, and branding initiatives. The evening began at 7:00 PM with warm interactions, networking, and nostalgic conversations, making it a memorable celebration of lasting alumni connections.

Congratulations to Mr. Piyush Pankaj (Class of 1999) on being appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at GTPL Hathway. We wish him great success and many more achievements in his new leadership role.
GTPL Hathway has appointed Piyush Pankaj as Chief Financial Officer effective October 1, 2026, replacing Saurav Banerjee who superannuates on September 30, 2026.
Mr. Piyush Pankaj currently serves as Business Head - B2B (CATV & Broadband) and Chief Strategy Officer at the company. He brings over 28 years of experience to the role, having been associated with GTPL Hathway for the last 10 years. Mr. Pankaj is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds an MBA in Finance & IT from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI).
Congratulations to Mr. Harpreet Singh (Class of 2008) on being appointed as COO & National Sales Head Marketing at Eco Hotels & Resorts Limited. We wish him great success and many more achievements in his new leadership role.
Eco Hotels & Resorts Limited has appointed Harpreet Singh as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and National Sales Head, Marketing. In his new role, Singh will oversee the company’s operations while leading its national sales and marketing strategy, supporting expansion plans and business growth initiatives.
Congratulations to Mr. Karan Rao (Class of 2008) on being appointed as Vice President at Madison Media. We wish him great success and many more achievements in his new leadership role.
Madison Media has appointed Karan Rao as Vice President, Content & Influencer Marketing. In his new role, Rao will lead Madison Loop and drive the evolution of Loop 2.0, the agency’s next-generation content and influencer marketing business combining human creativity with AI-led capabilities. Based in Mumbai, he will report to Vivek Das, Chief Digital Officer, Madison Media.

First edition of Alumni Linkup: Synergy Quarterly, brought out by the Alumni Coordination Cell, IBS Bangalore
This first edition carries highlights of two important initiatives that have given encouraging responses:
ConnectX – The Alumni Insight Series has been planned as a platform where our alumni come back to share their journeys, career insights, and industry perspectives with our students. Over the last few months, the series has evolved well, including international sessions with alumni from the UK and the USA, thereby expanding its scope and relevance significantly.
Executive Exchange – Industry–Academia Dialogue has been another significant initiative that invites accomplished industry leaders for a meaningful dialogue with our academic community. The series has brought perspectives from diverse sectors, including IT, FMCG, global finance, retail, entrepreneurship, and quality leadership. In fact, two of our guests have offered internships as well as placements after the series.
